Just a short 20 minute drive from Terrace, our lodge offers ease of access as well as some of the deepest powder in the world! Our cat ski backup ensures there are absolutely ZERO down days – we want you to enjoy the exhilaration of the slopes all day every day!

Location:

Fly first in to Vancouver, then 2 hour flight to Terrace, BC. Greeter will meet you at airport and transport you approximately 20 mins to the Lodge.

Safety is more than a commitment at White Grizzly; it is the ethic that drives our business. We provide our guests with top-of-the-line avalanche safety equipment and hold practice sessions on how to use this equipment effectively in the event of an emergency.
Our highly experienced, certified guides meet on a daily basis to evaluate run selections given current conditions, group dynamics and other factors.

Average groups do 8-15 runs per day.

We can accomodate up to 18 skiiers.


Equipment:

Our main ski is a custom version of Prior’s Overlord and we also have some newer Prior snowboards available.


Guides:

All of our guides are dedicated professionals and certified members of the ACMG (Association of Canadian Mountain Guides), the UIAGM (International Mountain Guides Associations), and/or recognized by Helicat Canada, the British Columbia Heli-Skiing and Snowcat-Skiing Operators Association.


About the Helicopter:

You’ll fly in cohesive groups of only four to six in one of our “Italian Stallions,” the Koala helicopters. Each helicopter services a maximum of three groups in order to allow us greater mobility and to increase the terrain selection that is available for us to enjoy.

Choose between Classic, Elite, or Private packages and head off on your ski adventure with three to five other skiers in a Koala or Bell 407 helicopter. You’re in safe hands with the company and guidance of an ACMG certified guide, who ensures you reach the deepest, freshest lines! And the cherry on top? There’s no need to worry about transport – one of our friendly staff will be waiting for you at the airport!
